Our Story
Cafe KOKO serves Italian small plates, pizza and cocktails in a warm and inviting setting, against a backdrop of curated music and art, inspired by KOKO’s rich 122-year artistic history. A favourite among musicians; it’s where Stormzy held his birthday party; Nicki Minaj stopped traffic for a meet and greet, and where artists playing KOKO are often seen hanging out beforehand.
Drawing inspiration from the new generation of trattoria seen in LA and New York, Executive chef Andreas Engberg (La Petite Maison, The Arts Club) has curated a menu full of the most delicious Italian flavours, using carefully sourced, seasonal ingredients and a sustainable, low waste ethos. The bar serves an array of IPAs, cocktails and natural wines to complement the dishes, alongside smoothies, juices and coffee throughout the day.
The walls are filled with our carefully curated art and photography collection, and as you might expect, tunes set the mood until the early hours. Discover curated playlists, and live acts and DJs every week, with R&B infused bottomless brunch every weekend, and SO FRESH SO CLEAN spinning records until 3am every Saturday night.
Next door, KOKO hosts over 1,000 shows a year across live music and KOKO Electronic club nights. Check out what’s coming up – and be sure to stop by for a pizza with us before the show.
Our newly established charity, KOKO Foundation, is on a mission to cultivate a greener environment within the community of Camden, and to spearhead artistic programmes for disadvantaged young people and nurture the next wave of essential new artists locally. Visit the website to learn more.
